Rapid River Falls, Michigan

Rapid River Falls isn’t very tall at all. It’s one of the shortest waterfalls that I’ve ever seen. But that doesn’t mean it’s not beautiful. It’s actually surprisingly beautiful. Maybe it’s because it’s so wide…Maybe it’s because it’s so calming…Maybe it’s because while it’s not tall, it’s actually a beautifully complex waterfall.

In addition to that, it seems to be a great place to play. The river is shallow enough that you can walk up and down the length of the waterfall. The water looks extremely clean too. There were a number of families enjoying walking in the rushing water, having a lot of fun. Even though there were people there, there was still a sense of serenity that isn’t found at every busy falls.

  3. Follow that road to the Rapid River Falls Park. The falls are in the park.
