Tinker Falls, New York

I don’t think Tinker Falls ever has much water flowing over it. But that doesn’t detract from it’s beauty. The short walk to the falls is amazing in the spring, as the forest’s green colors are just emerging. It’s just an amazing place to enjoy the calm of nature.

Directions:

  1. From US-81, take exit 14 and head east on NY-80.
  2. At the junction of NY-80 and NY-91, turn right onto NY-91 heading south.
  3. Driving along NY-91 south, you will enter into the Labrador Hollow Natural Area. You will notice signs for this natural area.
  4. On your left off of the road will be a parking area to the falls. I don’t remember there being signs indicating the falls. The parking area will have handicapped signs, which may help you guess that you’re at the right place. I do remember some uncertainty about arriving at the correct parking area.

Accessibility: 9/10 (easy)
